Job description: Research in the field of RNA biology within the project “RNA modifications in pathogenic bacteria”. Scientific qualification in the field of detection and biology of RNA modifications in microorganisms. The aim of the project is the molecular and functional characterization of RNA modifications in pathogenic bacteria under development and application of
molecular biological and genomic methods.
Requirements: University degree and doctorate in biology, biochemistry or comparable subject; experience in molecular biology; knowledge of genomics and bacterial genetics desired; at
least one first author publication in an internationally recognized journal; proficiency in written and spoken English. German skills desirable.
